Valley businesses making major adjustments to stay afloat

http://abc15.com/ – Al’s Chicago Hot dogs has been in business in Gilbert for the past six years. Owner Al Loeb worries that the bad economy could mean the end.
“Each month when those bills come, you wonder how you’re going to make it through,” Loeb said.
Several businesses surrounding the hot dog restaurant at Val Vista and Elliot have closed in recent months, making it even more challenging to get customers in the door.
“I have people come in and say if it weren’t for my combo meals, they’d go to a chain.” he said.
Loeb says he and other locally owned restaurants are having to make some big adjustments in order to stay in business.
He says he’s been offering more menu items and discounted combo meals and also offering more coupons and punch card deals.
Loeb says most of his customers are paying with credit cards and says he’s seen sharp decreases in business over all.
Some national reports indicate that one in five small businesses are at risk of closure in this economy.
Loeb says he’s hopeful that the financial rescue bill will eventually help but fears it might take too long to save some businesses.
“I’m worried,” he said. “I hope it helps but it is kind of like, we’ll believe it when we see it.”

The Red Card
~Jackie’s always alone since she’s poor, so she makes friends with the new transfer student, Rachel. She also notices that Kevin isn’t like the rest of the F4, & completely NOTHING like Matthew. Seeing Rachel being picked up by Matthew trigger her anger, causing her to punch him. The part with Amanda, the flashbacks is that Jackie always protected Amanda when she was in trouble & now she’s doing the same with Rachel. But this time, it’s against the F4.

P.S. I couldn’t find a red pixel note so i just used that talisman that i got from BannedStory 3.2; So i guess it’s not a red card anymore but a red & yellow card? XD
P.S.S I was gonna make it 10minutes ’cause Jackie nags but nahh.
